Public Education
I have taught in these classrooms. I know what they look like right now.
They are overcrowded. They are underfunded. Teachers are stretched thin and asked to do more with less. Instead of focusing on student learning, schools get pulled into political fights that do nothing for kids.
Families in Lovejoy, Princeton, and across HD-89 deserve public schools that are funded, supported, and free from political interference.
Where I stand
- Public dollars should strengthen public schools, not get siphoned into voucher schemes that benefit the most privileged
- Classrooms should be safe, well funded, and focused on learning
- Teachers deserve respect, trust, and fair pay
- Parents should be true partners in their child's education
Affordability
Groceries cost more. Housing costs more. Healthcare costs more.
Across Collin County, families in McKinney, Allen, and Princeton are working full time, taking on side jobs, and still coming up short. That is not a personal responsibility problem. It is a system that favors corporate profits over fair pay.
Where I stand
- No one working full time should struggle to afford basic necessities
- Raise the state minimum wage to $15 an hour. Period.
- Eliminate Pharmacy Benefit Managers to curb prescription drug costs
- Safe, stable housing built on long-term policy, not short-term fixes
Texas families deserve practical policies that bring relief, not rhetoric.
Transparent Government
Government should not operate behind closed doors.
Too many people are shut out of the decisions that shape their daily lives. When legislation serves corporate interests or political distractions instead of community needs, trust breaks. Rebuilding it takes transparency, accountability, and leaders who are present and reachable.
Civic engagement is not just voting. It is participation, visibility, and responsibility.

- Leaders should show up, listen, and stay accountable to their communities
- Civic participation matters year round, not just in election season
- Government should be transparent, so people know how decisions are made and who they serve
